On October 13-14, 2025, the kickoff meeting for the UNITE! Seed Fund took place at Graz University of Technology. Together with Christian Adams (Graz University of Technology), Louena Shtrepi (Politecnico di Torino), Elias Zea (KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm), Robert Arcos (Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya) and Tapio Lokki (Aalto University), cooperation in the field of acoustics were discussed and prepared. We look forward to further collaboration!

On 6 May 2025, Sven Maier successfully defended his dissertation on ‘Development of a virtual fatigue strength verification taking into account non-deterministic input and influence parameters’, which he wrote as an external doctoral student at BMW AG. We congratulate him on this success and important milestone!

This year, SAM was once again represented at the DAGA (Annual Conference for Acoustics) of the German Society for Acoustics.
