Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof (central train station) and Frankfurt (Frankfurt transportation hub) are well connected with the Regional and S-Bahn trains.
From Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof (central train station)
- bus line K directly to the TU-Lichtwiese’ stop
From Darmstadt Ostbahnhof (East Train Station)
- bus line L to the stop ‘Schloß’ where the K line can be taken to the ‘TU-Lichtwiese’ stop
- Take Autobahn A5 or A67 to the Darmstadt / Darmstadt Center exit
- Exit Darmstadt/Darmstadt Mitte
- Follow Rheinstraße (Road B26: follow signs for Vivarium)
Parking
- Parking around TU Darmstadt is very limited
- Frankfurt International Airport is about 40 minutes away by taxi
- The Darmstadt Airliner Shuttle-service leaves every half-hour from Frankfurt Airport (Terminal 1 and 2) to Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof (Darmstadt Central Train-station) and to Luisenplatz, from there take bus line K directly to the TU-Lichtwiese stop
